Description
KEITH was engaged by the Mainsail Lodging group, developers of the Hotel Luminaire, adjacent to the City of Fort Myers waterfront. As part of the redevelopment of the hotel and convention center, the developer was engaged to reimagine the waterfront park. KEITH provided planning and landscape architecture to create the vision for the waterfront park. The design included a larger entertainment venue, as well as day-to-day components. The project sought to create a connection point and open space that can allow users of the park to have intuitive and meaningful experiences. The park project was important to fit in context with the greater downtown vernacular, as well as the local arts festival and other important events. The project is expected to be under construction soon.
