Description
KEITH was selected by FDOT District 7 to provide design plans to provide short-term safety improvements on I-4/SR 400 from west of Branch Forbes Road (MP 0.266) to east of Branch Forbes Road (MP 0.550), as well as widening for extension of the northbound/southbound left turn lanes and installing traffic signals at the eastbound and westbound I-4 ramps termini at the intersections. The eastbound exit ramp will be widened to include a right-turn lane. All interchange ramps will be milled and resurfaced, as well as Branch Forbes Road from Beauchamp Road to Harvey Tew Road. The project (FPID 443318-1-32-01) includes drainage, structures, lighting, signals, signing and pavement marking, survey, utility coordination, and subsurface utility engineering (SUE). This roadway is designated as a Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) facility.
