THE KEITH COMMUNITY

For more than six decades, KEITH has been providing design solutions throughout the State of Florida, the Caribbean, and beyond. Our firm is built on the basic principle of serving as an advocate for the communities in which we build, live, and give back to.  KEITH builds communities through our Practice Lines. It is through this careful and thoughtful combination of each of our Practice Lines that community is built. Our Practice Lines include KEITH Facility, KEITH Access, KEITH Campus, KEITH Life, and KEITH Play.

As a trans-disciplinary firm, KEITH provides creative solutions to each project and the community in which they serve. The firm provides resilient and sustainable design solutions for municipal agencies, private clients, and the Florida Department of Transportation.

1955

Bill Keith began practicing surveying for the Broward County Engineering Department.

1963

Bill Keith became a Professional Land Surveyor.

1972

Bill Keith, PLS and Tom Schnars founded Keith & Schnars.

1998

Bill Keith, PLS founded Keith and Associates, Inc. providing civil engineering, land planning, and surveying and mapping to private sector and municipal clients.

2006

Dodie Keith-Lazowick, PLS becomes President of Keith and Associates, Inc., becoming woman-owned, and servicing FDOT and county agencies, seaports, and drainage districts.

2011

Keith and Associates, Inc. launches our Miami-Dade County office providing subsurface utility engineering (SUE), utility coordination and landscape architectural services state-wide.

2017

Keith and Associates, Inc. expands offices into Palm Beach and Orange Counties, reaching over 100 employees and expanding our transportation division.

2018

Keith and Associates, Inc. rebrands as KEITH, emphasing our transdisciplinary service lines and further reaching into the Caribbean and continental United States.

2019

Alex Lazowick, PE, PMP, ENV SP becomes the third-generation President and CEO of KEITH and grows to 180 employees.

2023

Opening of full-service Port St. Lucie office.

Today

KEITH proudly continues to build community through our holistic land development approach, continuing to serve governmental and private clients throughout the State of Florida, the Caribbean, and beyond.
